Are the E39 steering wheels a straight fit? Controls etc all work and airbag connector the same? Cheers

Do you still have a 740i? I was behind one going to Sainsburys at Holywood exchange last week, Monday I think, with definitely not standard exhausts. Warbly goodness.

I still need to get the interior delivered to the car. So after that’s sorted I’ll get it transported home.. will be nice to finally see it in person

Yup an e38.
I'll have to have a dig through.
I was in a really well paid job that year, and had almost 0 outgoings (living in shared house with mates) I went through a phase of buying some unusual cars for a very short amount of time, just for the experience.
It was a black on black, with parallels. One might say, Tomorrow never dies was to blame.
I have a 5 year plan, that's been delayed a little because of the rona. Inline 5, v6, v8, v10, v12.
All cheap as poss, the v10 will be the most challenging.
Perhaps not on that order, and certainly not all at once. I debate between s class and 750 for the v12, hmmm.

Also impressed with the service history and invoices included
A guy in reading spent 18k on it when he owned it from 08-13 in Cooper Reading Bmw on just maintenance
I was checking out it’s old plates, RL 46 was his and I see he’s in a black 2015 7 series so it mustn’t have put him off
