Just to throw it in there - I had a stage 2 map with hybrid turbo and boy it went well ! Very very linear and pretty fast. Only thing that car needed was an lsd and to stop intermittently cutting out on me..

Managed to get a bit of time at this this morning. Cleans up well. Very pleased with it so far. Only things on the to do list are to get a new reg plate for it and refurb the wheels after winter.

Wouldn't mind a set of 18's for winter tyres if anyone has / knew of any going?? Preferably MV2's.

Another wee extra that if I had the spec sheet infront of me I might have brushed off as never being useful - the ‘ski hatch’ was handy for bringing home a curtain pole this evening though!

Got a boot liner and a 2018 update navigation DVD which surprisingly slotted in and worked no problem. Activated winter mode this morning too - wheels don’t look as awful as I thought they would.

Got a carbon clean done on this yesterday afternoon. Purely out of my own curiosity to see what, if any difference it would make. Curiosity has been satisfied in that it has made very little difference. MPG was up slightly on a run up and down to Fermanagh yesterday which I also did last week 39.7 vs 37.1. Slightly more eager, and barley what you would notice a bit quieter & smoother. Wouldn’t be busting to get it done every year anyway.

Contemplating a remap next ^o)

Thats a lovely car and an ideal daily.

A remap would be worthwhile IMHO.

The winters look absolutely awful man...

Also, believe that carbon cleaning is just a gimmick.

I actually prefers those winters over the spiders, they just really suit it. Great spec, HTD (y)

Get a bottle of forte injector cleaner and throw that into it. Should give it a clean out.

Remap fairly liven it up, you sure it hasn’t been mapped?
