Folks, just picked wife up an e92 and noticed one of the bulbs is glowing red so assuming it's coming to the end of its life - see attached comparison. I'm reading that access for replacement behind wheel arch is the easiest way to go?. Also I'm not sure what type of bulb is on the other side so going to replace both, but I don't want an intense blue, at same time I want best possible light output too. It's a D1S bulb. Any recommendations or personal experiences with a specific bulb?.

Cheers

I put these into our F31 last week after the drivers side xenon failed. The standard colour range is around 4300k, these sit closer to 6000k so give a whiter light and are brighter. Would recommend.

Fitting is very easy, I took the wheel of and in through the arch, 5 min a side did it.

from memory, my E92 was D2S bulbs, and access through the back of the wheel is the easiest.

Jacked up, wheel off and go in from behind.
