The only thing classics like that have going for them is their prestige, mechanical feel and how well balanced they are. Stick an electric motor and massive battery pack in there and you lose all 3.

The battery powered Maserati on Wheeler Dealers was fairly interesting talking point though that particular model is worth relative pence regardless of power plant
