I started collecting pictures last year for my son, so he could see what cars I have had in the past. I'm missing a few of the early Fiestas, so used generic pictures. And the only picture I have of the Cortina is after I stuffed it.

One thing that impressed me straight away is how the NASCAR drivers can race so close, because you can't see a bloody thing when you are inside the car and it's so noisy. You are wearing a HANS device as well so you can't move you head much from side to side.

Driving on an oval is weird, I was doing 170MPH but it felt like I was doing about 60MPH on the Westlink.

Also, you don't actually use use the brakes while driving, you just lift for the tighter of the 3 corners, so when I went into the pits after my run I almost crashed into another car.

Yep, that's where I live, it was my wife's daily driver for about a year. It's now in France off all places.
