Exporting from south africa

Hello everyone new on here as a registered member was just wondering if anyone has any experience exporting cars from south africa have recently found a car out there that iv been after for a long time flew out viewed it ect but as for getting it home I dont really no were to start any help would be very much appricated .

You need to get a transport agent to handle it for you. They will do all the paperwork but you usually have to take it or get it delivered to the dock or get the container to where it is.
Workmate used to live there they put it in a container trouble he found it had to have the petrol taken out only one litre allowed and he could only get it delivered to South of England.
I have no way of asking him left in 2012 but i think he found a place that did deliver to Ireland for other stuff.

Thanks man for the reply the man I'm buying the car off in sa will deliever the car to were ever it needs to go but to go as for as dublin or belfast there talking 3500 pound makes a cheap car not so cheap but I'm sure there has to be cheaper options

Get onto Rob at Kleerfreight in England. There's a boat goes from SA to UK quite regular and docks near to his warehouse. He will be able to assist and highly recommended. RORO shipping will be cheaper but depending on the car you may think about a container..

Looked into the exact same thing a yourself ,this was a good few years ago and at the time I could get it delivered into Southampton and it was approx around £2600 from memory .this was in a container also .it was a better option at the time to buy two cars and ship together which I was for doing and filling out the container with spare parts ,doors ect and anything else we could get .
Unfortunately my contact over there had a nasty accident and had to eventually come home so I lost out on getting them home .will try and get the name of the shipping company I had sorted .
