It is nice, but just too much for age and mileage IMO.

Kitted X5's are the bee's knee's

Whilst I do like them to look at, I would just prefer a standard 1.

Oh yes, easily enough done. I usually make assumptions about the sort of owner that does that though, and in my experience most cars which have the likes of that (and M Performance decals) done to it aren’t the best examples.

Part of the reason I would avoid a kit too tbh. I’d certainly still check the car out if it ticked all other boxes- just so I don’t sound like a complete whab!

These kitted X5’s are in the same category as metro number plates for me - both just scream inbred Mid Ulster in my book lol. Then they go and raise it a notch on the stakes with 4D plates . You are absolutely right to hold out for one without all that plastic tat stuck on it IMO!

This goes for a lot of cars including the x5, the front splitter is OK, but the skirts and rear splitter just don't fit and look like a universal kit.

It is ridiculous how many of the ones for sale in NI are kitted!

It seems to be dealers go to option to immediately kit any X5 they get in. Guess they feel it makes them more visually appealing.
