Mark, I got the snow foam out yesterday, washed the fez, dried it off and went for a drive. Then I parked it, went to bed, got up, look at it this morning….and went for another drive.

What am I getting at?….Not a spanner in sight! I love it.

I can’t be ar*sed with racing anymore, or westfields. I dunno…..the novelty might pass but I can’t see it. I just love listening to the Italian orchestra.

The red yoke is being collected Wednesday. Can’t wait to have some garage space 😂😂

I wanted to go to Villa Vinci but wanted to park right outside - did a few laps before getting bored of waiting, got fed up and went home 🤣🤣. You weren’t the one in the car where the fella shouted “keep er lit” out the window? Lol
You should have just bought a certain Carterham 620 before the whole 'red yoke' thing began....................

TBH you did take the "spending time working on the car" thing to the extreme, no wonder you got sickened with it.

Had a good spin down to cars and coffee at PMG earlier this morning with my mate in
We stuck his Insta360 camera on my car and did a run out the road with it. The mic was probably not placed correctly as it picked up a bit of wind hanging off the rear bumper so next time in the engine bay, but it worked well enough to hear it scream a little

F*&%$ng epic sounds!!!! Need more of these videos!!!!

Only just seen as WiFi speeds are snail paced offshore!

I’ll get some this weekend if the weather is ok. The car is currently tucked up under a waterproof cover, awaiting (patiently), some garage space

And on that note, I said goodbye to an old friend today. Genuinely emotional seeing this be taken away 🥹

Watch those covers fella. Heard plenty of horror stories about paintwork getting properly bu66ered. Loads of swirl marks. Not what I'd imagine you want on your new P&J.

Old car might be gone, but not the memories!

Plenty of new ones to be made in the 360 CS ;)

Be careful with those covers. They trap a lot of moisture and condensation underneath no matter how "breathable" they claim to be. Especially in winter. Learned that the hard way... Better off just leaving it uncovered where air can circulate freely.

I have a spare outdoor carcoon here you could use if you want. I had it for the Lotus before I built the carport. Might be too small for the 360 but could be worth checking.

It’s literally just a stopgap until the white race car is offloaded down to my parents’ house then I can put the fez into the garage. Probably by this weekend!

Was some yoke by the time you finished with it, between the carbon bits and the wiring loom which was impressive. You learnt a lot through that car! (y)

It was indeed. I learnt the hard way with lots of stuff but it gave me a foundation of knowledge that I’d not have without it.

I need to find the b*lls to pull the dash out of the Ferrari - it’s getting trimmed and I need to strip the instrument cluster apart since I’ve just ordered the CS dial faces and EL backlight panel. I’ll have the dials sitting exactly as those in the genuine CS…..

Would you think of selling carcoon or maybe a 6 month free trial lol 😂??

I did a buy…..the most expensive pieces of paper on the internet lol

Full challenge stradale clock conversion coming…not cheap but it’s an absolute must given the rest of the interior mods coming

In order to achieve full challenge stradale look, not only the dials need to be changed but the EL panel behind them needs swapped for a white one (the current EL panel illuminates green). Additionally, the needles need to be changed to red and the circuit board needs modified to change the gear indicator panel LEDs from the current orange, to challenge stradale style red. I’ve organised all of the parts and the work is being done by a specialist in England (hopefully before Christmas) but this should be the outcome….

Oh and of course I’ve bought the carbon clock surround to complete the look

🤤

I took a spin down to Charles Hurst Ferrari today…..in my Ferrari 🤣🤣 still weird even saying that

Funny how I’ve been down many many times over the years and have never once been invited in.

Today however, I barely got out of the driver seat in my car before one of their sales guys was out, introducing himself and offering me a coffee. I had a nosey around the new 296 and yeah, it sure looks good but my little 360 CS-wannabe is still better looking imo.

There was a nice 458 there though, which more than likely my next step - providing they don’t go up that much in value

The TDF blue 812 superfast to the very left in the photo though 🤤 my god that thing is unreal

Could be interested in the carcoon if you are selling it, really need something for the car over the winter.

I exchanged revs with a 360 at Sprucefield yesterday was it yourself? Great looking car amongst the heavy traffic.

Haha yes that was me! 😍
Was that you on the coast road today behind the Mac ??

Yep. My mate and I went for a long spin today with the GoPros and 360cams to get some cool footage. Will wait for him to edit it and I’ll post it up later
