I actually sold this car in 2010, but I thought I'd post some pictures up as I only got them last week.

I was Googling a Hillclimb I did in 2006 a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised when a picture of my old car came up in Google Images. Followed the link and found the photographers website, emailed him and bought a copy of the photos.

It was actually a daily driver for about 2 years. Bit mad now looking back

I've always loved the Racing Puma. Shame they're so drastically underpowered.

Sorry I should have wrote more in the first post.

It was a proper Racing Puma, number 95 of 500 built with the rare optional LSD. Now the reason it was a rally replica is lost in the mists of time, we even asked the owners club if they knew about it. Thought it might have been a Ford promo car but it seems that the first owner did it himself, we were the second owner.

It's actually in France now which is a bit of a long story I'll type up when I get back from Lunch.

Ex gf's dad bought one new back in the day over in England, had the lsd and suspension was super stiff. He looked kinda funny with the harness (picture 50 year old man etc). They looked well though.

Well I'm 45 and my Eunos Roadster has harnesses so I guess I must look a bit daft as well now you mention it :p

Love that!

The photos must be some resolution though, it feels like 56k dial up all over again in work here.

Aye I was shocked at how underpowered they are - aren't they like 150 bhp?

Yea but they are reasonably light in comparison to modern cars. It was the 23k price ticket in 1999 that truly shocked most people. If I had the money I would have one tomorrow, I believe the only way values will go is upwards

They all have Alcon brakes.

I'd love one. They've held their value pretty well though :worried:
