E90 330i or 335i, as stated the 6cyl arnt that bad on fuel, ive a tuned 330i and is getting 36 on a drive 28 about town

Only thing is auto in both these cars is soul destroying, manual the only way

Mk5 GTi all day long in that price bracket. Mine is great craic down a B road, yet nice and comfy and civilised when driving about normally.

Have seen 35mpg on a run too.

I've been using an EP3 as a daily and for your budget, you'd get a really clean, low miler with decent mods.
