Hey all,
Some of you may recall I bought a brand new AMG A35 back in March, well from about a month in I started to have really significant problems with the car the worst of all related to its build quality (when being driven it sound like someone walking over creaking floorboards).
Well after a pretty frustrating 2 month process with MB UK it was rejected and handed back to MB Belfast on Friday, I had considered buying another (I was told no were available anyway) but after how MB Belfast dealt with me and treated me I would never go back near them again (their service manager actually said to me that perhaps I should "lower my expectations") which I found shocking.
Anyway I needed something to replace the AMG A35 straight away, requirements were something with around 300bhp as a minimum, modern and with up to date technology and a good level of specification.
Audi and BMW were ruled out fairly quickly as anything suitable was about a 4 month order, JKC did have a really nice 2017 M2 but the interior was almost the same as an M3 I had in 1998.
So after a 24 hour test drive I decided to go for the GTI TCR as it ticked most of the boxes, added bonus its much cheaper so will save me a fair few quid over the next two years.
So here is the car itself, pure grey with the optional black roof and has all the tech I am after.
