Greenlight quotes - Hotmail addresses

Hi All,

I did post this within the sticky, but have received a few PM's/comments in thread about a handful of you not receiving your quotations, so felt it best to post this separately for all to see:


We've recognised a problem which we need to highlight to those of you with Hotmail addresses.

The quotation terms are e-mailed to you and Hotmail's junk/spam filter often filters the mail to their Junk/spam box.

If you've not received a quotation within 24 hours of submission it's worth you checking the junk/spam box of your ISP.

In the event that you still cannot trace a reply, simply call our office on 01277 263030 or PM me with your actual name/postcode/correct e-mail address and we'll look into/re-process your individual case.

Same applies to alerts from the RMS forum - make sure that you specify that the mail isn't junk in your spam folder so that important insurance quotes and PM reminders come into your inbox

We have raised this with Microsoft, but we're still experiencing problems with Hotmail addresses - so if you've applied for a quotation and havent heard please don't be shy in contacting us.

We're still receiving calls from those of you that have applied using Hotmail addresses & not received a quotation.

There is a large red warning displayed when you submit your quotation, which highlights the problem to those of you using Hotmail addresses.

We are processing your applications swiftly & always respond, so if you don't receive your quotation within a day of application and have a Hotmail address - please either call to collect your quote or provide an alternative e-mail address (ie. Gmail, Yahoo, Aol, Work or other).

The reason for bringing this post to the top is that we still have problems with Hotmail addresses.
