As most of you know we flew over to Coventry a few weekends ago to collect the Mini replacement for Emma, managed to find this one after 5(!) previous cars didn’t happen, before it was even advertised from a Porsche specialist dealer JR Motors.
With 47k miles and a full years mot, it just had a service at Porshawerks also in Cov, where it had a full service, new ac condensers, new discs and pads, wheels refurbed, climate buttons replaced, front splitters repainted and a paint correction carried out. As ever putting a deposit on a car in a different country is a bit sketchy but was assured it was refundable if we weren’t happy, so flights were booked.
The sport design kit was factory fitted and makes such a difference to them imo, it comes with front splitters, different rear bumper with diffuser, ducktail spoiler, ‘S’ tailpipes and body colour roll hoops, a few minor jobs done and to do and the other plans are wheels and possibly red seat belts, it’s her daily so nothing lairy or hardcore lol The tailpipes are rank so they’re being replaced when the exhaust bypass mod is done soon for a bit more volume from the lovely but subdued flat six.
I’ve already done the de-snorkel mod and fitted some mesh over it to stop rubbish getting to the filter. Also fitted Zunsport grilles to protect those new condensers.
