Ive my bike mot tomorrow and i have a hid bulb in my 1050 in a projector housing. It gives a nice clear cut off. Will this pass mot or should i just remove and refit after the test? Im asking as id usually remove it but im on nightshift tonight and the mot is at 11 and id like to sleep when i get off work. Also known as being lazy.

Unless you get an absolute stickler for the book, they're unlikely to notice as long as the heights correct.

Had mine up a few months ago and the
guy testing the bike says to me that I should fit a set of LED bulbs. As he puts it, "bikes don't have washers, so as long as the beam pattern is correct, it will not get a second glance". AFAIK, LED lighting uses the same regulations for testing as HID, so can't see a problem.
But as Polobrat666 says, it just takes 1 stickler to cause the headache
