Bought this as my road hack recently.

Quite literally in time warp condition with 7K on the clock.

Not a particularly interesting bike to most people but I have an unhealthy obsession with them as this is my 4th one!
Think this one will be a keeper.

Completely standard barring a Fabbri tinted double bubble screen and a Givi rack and box (not pictured).

Plan on keeping it standard as possible.

Just gave it a full service plus flushed the coolant and brake fluid and fitted a pair of Michelin Road 5 tyres.

I had a yellow and black cbr600 similar to yours. Great bikes and very comfortable. Health to ride.

They really are one of the best all rounder road bikes ever made.

Lovely. Was close to buying a white Sport a year or so ago that was local to me. These always had cracking write ups in period press. Remember an issue of ‘Bike’ magazine where they put one of these against the proper out and out sports 600s and this was their real world winner. Says it all really!

Unreal, glad you got a good one in the end, they are few and far between now.

The bike is quite lumpy at low revs and I’ve got a distinctive rattle around 5000 RPM so sounds like I need plugs and a cam chain tensioner.

On further inspection the plugs are pretty badly burnt out so stuck a new set of NGKs in and have ordered a new CCT and gasket from Honda.

Can’t believe what lurks under the tank.
Looks like it just rolled out of the showroom rather than a 16 year old bike!
