Just a quick shout out to @big_pete for the great job on my car which I picked up this week.
I was lucky enough to get one of the first allocations in Northern Ireland for the new FL5. Previously owned an FN2 and an FK2 so had my name down for this one last summer. First car I bought that I had never test driven, but now that I have it has easily lives up to the hype.
Always had a keen interest in the CTR and realise that this will be the last ICE manual version and really wanted to own one. A proper drivers car that is sadly becoming a very niche market with only a few hundred units coming into the UK market over the entire production run of the FL5.
Still on the break in period for the engine so not fully able to open her up just yet, but even with the fact I haven't many miles on the car I can definitely say the gearbox, and handling are a real step up from the FK2. The front seats are the best I have ever sat in with a terrific drivers position, and the interior is a major step up in quality. The car is slightly longer than the FK2 and brings with it the usual practicality which I need as I will be using as a daily.
