Still want one, need to make it happen someday. Unfortunately my total restoration bill bill for the Datsun would put me 3/4 of the way towards owning a decent one.


Thinking about it, if I owned one I'd always planned to drive it with the ****el for a couple of years and then fit an SB4 to it. But that probably doesn't make sense given the cost of them now and if I kept it how I bought it I wouldn't loose any money after a few years of fun. Perhaps I need to find another cool car to do my V8 swap in, but what.

Pretty sure I'd be comfortable building a 13B so that should save some money if it goes wrong. One of the reasons why I want to V8 one, if it ever went wrong I'd just stick a lovely V8 in it, and I could never afford the Quad rotor I really want.

BMW S65 into an E21 or 2002!

2002 could work, But hard to pass over an E30, not M3 but same style arches only wider. If I do a BMW build though it would have to be an S85.

I love old Nissans.

I bid on one very similar to this in the jap auctions but they rejected it on my behalf due to rust

There's the one I bid on very happy with my S13 tbh and it was actually my first choice, but when I saw this S14 it swayed me enough to take a chance and was gutted when it was rejected.
