When cleaning the rear footwell I noticed the carpet was slightly damp.
Turns out it’s a common F10 5 series and f06/f12 6 series issue and is caused by crap around this big grommet in the engine bay.
Think I’m gonna replace it and the covering panel but a quick cleanup of the crud will likely sort the issue.
Otherwise it’s business as usual for the big yoke

Parked at Antrim Tesco this evening?
Such a lovely car, parking in a small space so close to the front door though, I’d have been over in the corner out of the way.

Thanks. It had a rare coat of bilt hamber due to the ... situation. Was doing the supplies run for the extended family!Thought I recognised this from somewhere - looked very well going through Glengormley this evening when I was out walking the dog, very clean!
