I've had a Zunsport lower grill in my Ebay watch list pretty much since I've had the car but just didn't want to pay full price. This one popped up on Facebook brand new (guy ordered wrong one) so got it for a bargain.

Will get the badge swapped out for something (probably "Type UK" as it already says STI enough on the front) but that's it fitted.

Seeing @Gambit fitting his flexi brace I thought I'd have a look to see why the one I'd bought ages ago didn't fit properly.

As you can see, one bar was slightly straighter than the other. Quick "adjustment" in the vice had it sorted.

Didn't want to mess about too much as they're a genuine (read expensive) item and with all Subaru's looking much the same I was worried it was off a different model and I wasn't keen on butchering it rather than sell it on.

Messaged the seller at the time (a breaker) so got a partial refund luckily but it was probably in a bump and they never noticed/let on the slight damage.

Looks great and great spot for a photo. Took a few pics of the Focus in that same spot a couple of years ago!

Seen it one night ages ago when a mate was driving and dropped a pin to find it again until I realised where it was on a drive in daylight.
Think it would be cool at night with a few battery lights.

Car was in for a service and needed the brake disc backing plates/dust shield things (which needs hubs and bearing off etc) so decided to get new discs and pads while that was happening. Bearings replaced and he tidied up a load of wee bits and pieces while it was up on the ramp for the service. Flew through MOT.

Once I got it back it was in much need of a clean and I'd bought wheel spacers off @Gambit ages ago to fit , and I wanted to paint the new discs and tidy the calipers.

Discs came painted but I did a fresh coat before rust sets in. A pet hate of mine is seeing rusty discs. Had a gold touch up pen so used it to fix a few dings in the calipers (not an exact match but did the job).
Also had new Brembo stickers to put over the top of the decals as they were very faded. They aren't 100% exact but did the job. If they don't last I'll get another set and maybe clear coat over them.
Cleaned the wheels and give them and the calipers an Autofinesse caramic coating which I've found to be pretty good for all the effort it takes to use. Absolutely knackered me, must getting too old for it 😬 Don't know how people have the energy to do major jobs on cars

Have maybe said it before but the revolutions really make this car. Blue blob with gold wheels are a dime a dozen in NI but the revolutions are just different enough from the usual oem prodrive or enkei wheels to stand out from the rest. Also think they just suit the car much better. Its surprising the difference a bit of touching up has done there too with the calipers. Looking tidy.

If you compare the brochure pic above with the actual wheel/arch offset gap in your first pic on first page - youll see that even subaru spaced the wheels further out in the brochure!

i think it looks perfect with the 15mm, doesnt look overspaced/wrong offset which you see on a shed load of cars nowadays with spacers and low offset wheels

I agree, though they're common enough now too. I have seen a couple of sets of wheels I was tempted to try but I'd always hold onto the millenniums so haven't room to store them all. Have the OEM wheels and @Mels winter wheels taking up all the space I have !

Yeah I had noticed. Always annoyed me on standard imprezas how much room they had to play with in the arches but never filled them. Especially the 330s, really needed a nice stance.

Looks great with the spacers! How'd you get them to fit? I was under the impression that you needed to get ones that had bolts in them and then the old bolts sat in the recess of the wheels (if the back of the wheel had recesses)

That's correct, the back of the wheel has recesses.

So like a ****head I managed to leave my lock nut key on the wheel when I went for the test drive. Didn't realise till a week later and it just popped into my head that I didn't remember putting it away.
Was raging because it meant I couldn't test run the spacers (and try out the new brakes) with too much enthusiasm in case anything came loose as I'd have no way to tighten anything.

Luckily I had the paperwork/code for the key (oem Subaru/McGard) so was able to purchase a replacement direct from McGards website in Germany and it arrived this week.
Took the wheels off and the spacers nuts were all still torqued up so give it a good blast in the sun today. Car handles great since the geometry was set up again, and new pads and j-hook discs feel a good bit more responsive than whatever was on before.

Think it's sitting pretty well now "stance" wise.
