So in Adam's world , maybe needing two new tyres turned into buying 4 new wheels and Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres.
Thanks to @Davey@Procar at Procar and @RubberLover and the guys at Ivan Kerrs tyres for getting me sorted.

Also got plates made up today but have assigned the reg to the car yet.View attachment 300474

@MATT93 sent me the link to the wheels as soon as I bought the car. They popped back up again while browsing and I just went for it. I aired my views and @Mel said to go for it.

Got a pair of LED sidelights, I drive everywhere with at least sidelights on and the old ones were a bit poor.
Of course a 20min job turned into an hour and a half when I dropped a bolt which went AWOL. Found it eventually but not before removing the under tray, fog cover and part of the bumper only to find it up the side of the rad so all that was pointless.

Well impressed with the bulbs but the down side is it makes the main beam look very yellow.

Had the 'WRC' style spoiler on my last bugeye, was on when I bought it, not the best angle but with the wheels it was chunky.

That said, I wouldn't go for that look again.

Fitted my fire extinguisher today. Had it my last few cars just in case. And before anyone says its useless, I'd rather have a go if my car was on fire rather than just stand and do nothing.

Got my "spare" wheels washed and sealed up to put away. I assume they've been refurbished as they're immaculate.
