I'm just off the phone to a mate of mine who's a cameraman for a news team - he's been sent down to Galway to cover the event. But here's the rub - he's been giving a small mini dv camera to work saturday night to record the *trouble* on saturday night in salthill for the news. He's not down there to report on Roy White's return, nor to report on the debut of the Fabia or anything rally related - he's there to record diffin etc.
So this is a plea from me lads don't shoot yourselfs in the foot - just behave this weekend in and around Galway. If you know anyone heading down this weekend to the rally pass this along !
