Insuring Engine Mods

Has anyone any experience with insuring "light" engine mods, for example an increase of around 30bhp..?

Im looking for a policy that will allow pretty much any modifications to be carried out but I dont actually want to cover the modifications, I just wanna be legal, if you catch my drift.

Liverpool Victoria was looking good until they said no engine mods allowed, so bugger that

Must give them a shout pablo as Im in Scotland, preumse theyd work there too?

Engine doesnt look standard boydie thats the problem so I think I needa get something sorted pronto...
