Great news
No, definitely not. It looks like contamination to me. Was it like that from the start?

I’ll replace it for you FOC on your next order if you add a note to seller.
I think it was a bit cloudy at the start but not as bad but to be honest i can't remember 100%. I'll try it the next time I wash the car and if it still works ok I'm not worried about a replacement.
Washed the car today and tried the ultra gloss. It seems to be working fine that’s the boot lid and bonnet after I rinsed ultra gloss off with the hose and they are almost dry.

@Big Pimp

Any idea when you will have more Cleanse in? I knew I should have ordered it a few days ago.

Really wanted to try it out at the weekend as the car and wheels are bogging.

FINALLY!!!!!

any more info on these? Just interested to know pricing etc. any rough ideas on how long they last before changing the resin?
available for immediate dispatch, or collection from my unit, and also with @Davey@Procar we have finally released our DI Vessels.

As for how long they will last, it really will depend on the area you are in and the water hardness.
We are very luck that NI Water have a really handy and useful tool which you can find here and it will give you an approximate water hardness for your area

There is a lot of discussion on various window cleaning forums etc about durability of them.

Bearing in mind a lot of these are estimated in hard water areas of England (250mg/l areas) but they are finding up to 880 litres of 0ppm

our hardest water areas here are about 1/5 of Englands, but it may be optimistic to think that we would get over 4000lt for pure water from an 11lt vessel.

But.

I've been using mine fairly frequently over the last 3 years, and i am only now starting to get >10mg/l on my TDS meter so it's time for me to change the resin.

We will test your water if you wish, and email you your results back, or alternatively buy a TDS meter which you'll pick up on ebay or amazon for about £20

Excellent news. Will get one ordered, as due a refresh of some things. I know you have probably been asked this a thousand times, but any timescale on trim being added to the site as would like to add it too? Thanks

it should be tonight.

i'm currently working on the website at the minute, on a zoom with the website coders for shopify, and we have some really exciting changes to the layout hopefully happening as soon as they can help code what I want.

Tell you what - I wouldn't fancy all this website trickery - too much like hard work !!!

Have been experimenting a bit with the latest products and I think I've found a flowchart for what to use when, lol. It's all brilliant but there is a bit of overlap and can be confusing. Hope it's useful to someone, lol.

Obviously this is just me, I think this is a cost effective way. Others may have a different twist. I'll follow up with some pictures from the unscientific scientific comparative experimentation 8-|

All below diluted as per labels.

Also skipped over the specialist products like Tarminator and Ultrabrite just because they are, well, for specific specialised jobs. Or because the products below do the same job but cheaper and/or safer.

Assuming a coated car below - if the car is waxed then don't use Lazer or Cleanse on the bodywork (unless you actually do want to strip off waxes, etc.).

Here goes, phew 😁

P.S.
My house doesn't get anywhere near this much attention 😅 Although much of this stuff gets a lot of use around the house too! Lazer, Solapower, Hydraclean, Clearview, Hybrid, etc. But that's a different topic.

-------
Wash
-------

Wheels + tyres: Cleanse (+Purge if there is stubborn brake dust left)
Regular Pre-wash: Articulate, at this time of year with added Lazer
Occasional pre-wash (every month or so?): Cleanse
Foam: On top of pre-wash
Power hose

Hand-wash: Gleam+ and sponge

Rinse-aid and quick wax: Ultragloss

-------
Exterior detail
-------

Spot cleaning: Cleanse

Glass: Hydraclean
Bodywork: Hybrid (every few weeks)
Regular plastic/rubber: Trim (or Hybrid)
Tyres: Ultraslick/Ultrasheen

Plastic extreme restoration: Wash + IPA + Product X

-------
Interior deep clean
-------

Plastic/Carpets/Cloth: Solapower + hard upholstery brush + vacuum
Alcantara: Solapower + SOFT upholstery brush + hair dryer
Leather: Saddle soap + leather balm (from horsey shop, not Ross 😉 )
Glass: Clearview

Plastic/rubber finish: Trim

-------
Interior regular clean
-------

Vacuum
Trim

Any updates on the CitraClean yet Ross? I'm hoping to be placing an order soon. But waiting for the new trim and CitraClean before pulling the trigger. Lol

Some pictures. It's that time of year, and poor Vera back home after 1500 miles of English countryside and motorways...

P1110678.JPG

P1110653.JPG

P1110660.JPG

Did the left side with Cleanse alonge and then powerhose + dry (anything looks clean when wet!).

P1110664.JPG

That's pretty amazing! The wheels and tyres, just wow. But bodywork too.

However, looking closer at the wheels there is some baked in brake dust left on. But with only that left Purge gets that off easily, just spray on and hose off.

P1110667.JPG

On the other side I used my Articulate+Lazer winter cocktails, and then just Purge on its own on the wheels and tyres. Then powerhose and dry.

P1110661.JPG

Again that's pretty impressive. And again, looking closer, there is some ingrained dirt left on the wheels (purge alone) and the tyres are not as clean. But, again unsurprisingly, zero brake dust deposits. If like me you do a Gleam+mitt round anyway then this is more than clean enough at this stage. But Cleanse does a better cleaning job than Purge (unsurprisingly!), so better to use Cleanse on the wheels as a regular wash, and save Purge for stubborn brake dust.

Articulate + Lazer on the bodywork does a similar job as Cleanse, but more cost effective for regular cleaning of large areas. So save Cleanse for occasional deep clean.

Then on to a bigger challenge... Some might remember I ran out of pads at the back on the last trip... Well, the brakes have been sorted but the left rear wheel was left in a horrific state...

P1110681.JPG

This is Purge alone plus powerwash, no agitation:

P1110682.JPG

Next Purge + agitation with a dish brush, and powerwash, on the remainder of the baked in brake crap and metal dust...

P1110690.JPG

That's nearly all gone in just two passes without reaching for acid.

The last bits were more stubborn! Even Ultrabite didn't do anything on that... Purge + rubbing with fine steel wool (0000 grade) did though. But it was dark by the time I got to the end of that!

P1110707.JPG

Next day there were a couple of odd spots left. Spot cleaning with Cleanse is ridiculously easy! Just spray on and wipe off with a soft towel.

P1110710.JPG

P1110713.JPG

And consider that's stuff none of the other stuff shifted the day before!

For the spotcleaning I used whatever dilution was in the Cleanse bottle I got from Ross. But for these easier jobs it can easily be diluted at least 3-5 times. Maybe more.

And finally sorted out some faded plastics on the rear wiper and the scuttle panel using Product X. Didn't get any before pictures but they were both basically a white-grey. Based on the other experiment, I expect that to last at least 6-12 months, maybe even longer. My test bumper out in the back yard still shows no sign of fading at all going on three months of winter weather now!

P1110726.JPG

P1110743.JPG

--------------

Yesterday I was playing around with ways of restoring Alcantara with literally decades of dirt and grime rubbed in. Looking at this first picture you would be forgiven for thinking that's just completely worn down and flattened.

P1110769.JPG

But not a bit of it. Spray on Solapower, then gently work around with a SOFT furniture brush (don't want to remove those fine Alcantara "hairs"). Probably spent 10-15 minutes doing that, just brushing in different directions, as well as in circles, to break up and brush out dirt. Then a blowdry with a hairdrier while continuing to brush to dry out and fluff it up. Came up fantastically well!

P1110773.JPG

I honestly thought that was a lost job but it came out like flippin' new! Just amazing, well chuffed, honestly couldn't believe it!

Thank you Anachem 😅

yes, citraclean is a different beastie altogether.

Those are amazing results from the Cleanse @svensktoppen - you're like the poster boy of the Anachem automotive products :joy:

Are you sure? Pretty sure from speaking with Ross before that Cleanse and CitraClean are two different products?

Who knows, there are so many products and names :innocent:

Just checked, says Cleanse on the bottle I got from Ross, and that's what I used above.
