hey guys so with the 535d gone I wanted something that would match the comfort and power of the Bm, so I thought one of these would be perfect.

2010
1year Mot
Full Jag history
3L twin turbo V6 diesel auto 275bhp
Factory S model with mountain of extras

It's such a cruiser and a lot of toys to keep me entertained for a while..

Plans are to get my private Reg on it, possibly a remap, brakes painted and drilled front and rear brake discs. (y)

Tidy wagon! These go well with a remap/tuning box but never feel as fast as the BMW would due to smooth delivery :grinning:

HTD!

I never drove a standard 535d to compare... But yea the rapid feeling isn't there but looking down at the speedo says different lol

Lovely Car. Something needs done with the headlights thiugh.

Like? Removal of the orange? Can it be done in these?

Its a tiny bit of orange ... cant be removed unless you want to take a hot knife to the headlights. Not worth it in my opinion and doesn't look odd against the black body colour.

Great cars these and map really well.

Guy on Jag Info did a full headlight mod on his XF. Fully tinted the inside and removed the orange.

Cost was Two second hand headlights then sent off to a headlight specialist to completely revamp them properly. Alot of money spent. Ill try and find a picture.

Yea looks well but its not going to be a show car, you should try and source an aero front bumper and put on XFR side skirts.

DPF removal and map should see these to what figure approx? 330?

Seems to be 322-325 with the stage one remap. Might get a bit more with a Spires exhaust system and upgraded panel filters.

Not the worst gains but not quite 535 figures either which is a shame, but it is newer and different. I'd be happy at 325bhp, so long as it's safe.

Don't know a lot about these cars if I'm honest, just hope the turbo's aren't as problematic as the BMW's?

Friend of mine has one the same. S model with the 3.0 275.
Had it couple of years with no probs.
Lovely car and I'd quite fancy one myself.

Not much of an update, painted the brakes calipers red to blend with the tail lights. Have looked at replacing discs with drilled ones but not replacing them just yet.

Cars getting a good cleaning and wax treatment this weekend (y)
