It really is, owners has had possession of it for a good few years too

Yea loved it, should have won a award I thought.. was talking to owner who owned it before current owner and he was saying he had small bit of regret selling it lol

the two guys judging didnt have an easy task, thats for sure, some cars I thought would have won too, but wasnt up to me

That's the problem, everyone's tastes are very different so what may appeal to me might not appeal to the judges for example. I loved the EK9 that won car of the show purely because I appreciate the effort in maintaining it to that level of OEM detail.

The fact it wasn't a "scene" car made me appreciate it winning too,

Judges worked of a points based system so helped prevent any bias towards a certain style. Points were awarded for not just modifications but also originality, so helped level it out

One of the judges was on his hands and knees looking underneath with a torch to find fault with it... didnt happen

The want for an RX-7 never goes away, especially when I see ones like in those photos.
