Well folks thought it was about time to throw a thread up for the we Sol
Based in NI was imported in 1999 iirc then bought circa 2003
Spec 1993 original JDM Spec
Manual transmission non LSD
JDM B16a
Transtop
AUX fogs
Gathers Speakers
Storage bins etc
Stolen first time from a Tesco Car Park to be rammed by the Police around 2006

Which led to a respray and some repair work and a (Cool at the time) S2000 kit put on insurance company paid for it hock:

Which in turn ended up with this.....

Which was fine until it got stolen AGAIN in 2010 due to Clutch failure was abandoned and smashed up :modern suprised:
Resulting in this.......

So in turn she got tucked in and hibernated until I returned from working/partying in OZ

Then comes the FUN part I have been waiting for so long to finish
Original Bumper back on

Lost the FOG lights somewhere in the last few years so sourced a new set on EBAY for the sum of £20 bargin

Also had to swap the JDM lights for UK lights for MOT :twisted:

Glad that front bumper was removed. I always thought it looked hideous on that wee motor. Much better looking now that the standard 1 is back on

Is that the standard bootlid set-up, or a fancy aftermarket piece of kit that houses the roof?

Thats the Stock Transtop setup pretty funky but weighs the car down

Perfect time for an update

Bought this on ebay as an unfinished project for 99p

Then started to wrap the roof in matt black for the craic

I suppose its handier when the roof comes off

Then a parcel arrived

Polished brace and sprayed ends in Nissan Gold

With the bumper off I thought I would lamin x the aux lights aswell still undecided tho

While looking for the black interior were going for $200+ I thought feck it i'll do it myself since i had some wrap left

looked like this originally

Also had a set of comps to upgrade aswell

BTW there is a set of stock rear lights in Royal Mail sumwhere between here and the mainland

Some good changes, only thing I'd recommend is taking the cam cover off and redoing it with textured paint, will show off the new plug cover much better .... oh, and DROP it!

Cheers buddy I actually have Vht black stuff here but was going to order a gasket before i done it and the price nitromors is
hectic

I also got out bid on a set of spoon springs by 25p last week.... gutted but Eibach shall do aswell not too low mind

The stock setup is quite nifty aswell on the B roads

Wouldnt be a fan of what you've done of the roof or the lexarse lights, but thats a great turnaround so far and nice wee touch with the indicators Sounds like you've got good plans for the future. Keep it up

Cheers those lexus lights have been a pain in the arse for years since the original jdm ones were loaned/stolen by an apparently decent car shop owner

New ones will be on in a few days finally

Thought it was time for an update

Like the other thread I spent today adding some more security to the car in the form of a Fuel Kill Switch

No pics of that im afraid for obvious reasons

Finally got a set of stock rear lights which almost brought a tear to my eye so happy

Sprayed the Rad Stay, Battery Tie Down and AC unit stay,

Kit is all bought for painting the Rocker Cover

still unsure what colour to go for and it didnt help that I got a delivery of some Wicked Airbrush Paints today but I may just continue with the original plan and not bother with any airbrushing.

Undecided on what to do with the rear panel, colour coded or Matt black I put a small strip of Black on the left side

Suspension Goodies have been shipped apparently still waiting for them

Picked up a few bits and bobs to tidy up like a new Fuel Door since mine had a slight dent in it

Was ready to fit the Decat gaskets bought etc but mine has an O2 sensor in the cat and the Decat had this welded up so unsure what to do now with it.

Plus side is next week start of the month I will be giving the Govenment notes in exchange for the right to drive the car on the road
