Any Alfa breakers in the north?
Need a 159 steering rack (and so the joys of alfa ownership begin!)

Do you definitely need a new rack? The pumps can grumble a bit but changing the steering fluid reservoir and the fluid from red to green can fix it. Check out the Alfa forums.

The lovely rainbow trail I am leaving behind me everywhere I go is pointing to a new rack. Tried the stop leak stuff on a whim and a prayer knowing it wouldnt work and as expected, no joy so down to ECP to see what they can get me one for before I start looking at second hand units that can just through a wobbler at any time again.
Will check the pipes over the weekend too just to be sure, but seems like the rack.

With the pumps though, you need to know what the car originally came with, if it came with red from new, only use red. Changing to green will bugger it.

Dunno of any that specialise in Fiat's but Ecopart or Traynors have a good throughput of cars and lots of the usual Punto's etc.
I couldn't get a gearbox for my son's Bravo during the summer and we ended up getting an Alfa 147 box off Traynors and swapping the internals into the Bravo casings. What is it you need?

Aye I thought as much. Those american Pick-a-part yards look fantastic. Especially the deals they do (everything you can carry for $50 etc).

Ecopart at Nutts Corner are listing a few parts for EP civics, depends on what you need. Best to ring them tbh.
