Looking for Silver Mk1 Golf Driver DXI reg

A mate sold this wee car around about 2008. It was around Belfast for a while with G60 steels on it and then sold on. Last I heard of it it had been given a respray and was looking mint and advertised for sale around 2013, possibly up round Coleraine/Limavaddy direction (I'm not 100%). I think it has a set of MK1 GTi 7spokes then.
Last change of owner shows as 2012 and the MOT expired in 2014 so it possibly didn't sell and has been sat in a garage since.

Does anyone know off it now?


He had a metallic red (indian) Mk1 Driver too, Sij1069 reg that he sold as a project in 2005 without an engine. That went to the Lisburn/Hillsbrough area and was then sold on. I'd say it's maybe been scrapped along the way but someone might know what happened to it.

Can’t say I’ve ever noticed a silver mk1 up here but I’ll keep an eye out

Cheers dude, vehicle enquiry shows it as out of MOT since 2014 so likely sat in a garage or shed somewhere

If you've the full reg see if you can talk to a friendly police officer or MOT man that could maybe point you in the owners general direction. Unofficially. Obviously.
