Well done Andy, a step in the right direction. Still way too heavy for a proper lotus and too many electric gizmos but you'll get there :innocent:

If it still has the original bicycle wheels at the front then getting a more sensible width should be the first port of call before heading out on track. That and a lot of trail braking ;)

Lovely car, you will enjoy that

Lol :joy:

Princess is in Jazz mode anyway at the moment with a seized VTec solenoid so that's my excuse :joy:

The presence this has on the road in insane, a proper neck breaker when we were rolling through Larne on Sunday.

Fairly quiet on the Lotus front due to the weather, and a few minor warranty issues which just like with the Evora, handled promptly and professionally by Ballyrobert. No more squeaking drivers seat, and both pedal switches replaced as both TC and cruise control wasn't working at various stages, all sorted.

Few minor improvements this evening:

LED no plate lights...

After

Interior OEM LED light (yes it is on!)

And a marine spec coffee holder for all those track days and coffee...

And yes its still very red in there but as @BBSBOY once said to me, It's not as much of a whore's handbag as I'd expected ... so will do lovely.

Some body styling en route which I will hopefully get on in a week or so. (Don't worry Sven it's legit aero!)

A few more minor updates. So I felt the handling of the car was a bit nervous at speed. Don’t get me wrong the exige gives a huge amount of feedback but it ran with the road too easily which didn’t seem right, even compared to the Evora.

So thanks to @Armo and Roddie at Street Racer and many hours on the ramp the car is now driving totally differently and I’m very pleased.

To set the camber and castor on the front of the car requires moving shims which was time consuming but patience won through!

Took a rip down to PMG earlier today with the intention of heading on to Kirkistown for Trackskills but the weather was fairly grim so decided against it. A shame too as it was the place to test the new geo for sure.

So instead I decided to tidy up the brakes and wheel nuts. Thrilling stuff.

My new aero bits arrived so looking forward to getting them fitted in the next few weeks. And getting it out a bit more if the weather improves!
