I've yet to get my hands on it but Gary at Blackline has worked his magic, and it looks like he did an incredible job on significantly improving the in car entertainment and bringing the interior up to date.

Original Alpine Single Din head unit out, vents removed, binnacle fibreglassed and leather trimmed to match the rest of the dash, and the Pioneer Carplay head unit (previously in my Saab) transplanted in!

While you're up at Blackline you should look into a wee Celtic Tuning file for the 640d, saw on their facebook they are making great gains.

Fantastic job Andy. By the time I had left Lotus (at the request of the newly-appointed Electrical director), Lotus Cars engineers were still trying to get approval to update the small car platform to a double din head unit. We see the future right here...... but they struggled with the centre vents too,

Some carbon wrapping on the sills and air intakes would look nice :innocent:
I think if I didn't get proper carbon items I would get a fairly hard time! So no plans just yet.

New boots have landed - Michelin Cup 2s, so that and back on the gauges again. And possibly wrapping or painting the back end black a la the cup cars. And probably overdue a track day or three I think!

Been stuck in the tin top because of an imploded pulley on the Hondus - raging :sob:

Looking good there!

Spotted this on the A26 this morning coming the opposite way, looked amazing in the sun, very jealous!

When I went to pop the rear numberplate plinth off I discovered some dog had marked underneath when drilling the plinth.

I wanted to put on a shortened (legal) plate and so a plan was hatched to paint the back end Matt black as per the cup cars at the same time.

Well pleased with Blair’s work.
