Seems to just be software for a 2015 with pro media going by a quick look on some of the forums

If you have a car from March 2015 with Pro Media it will come with the NBT Evo headunit so can be flashed and CarPlay installed.

Yeah I have just bought an ICOM and a new laptop so testing it on my M3 first as I need to flash it to get full screen carplay.

Just awaiting a final cable to arrive and will test during the week on my car then i'll be good to go to do it on others cars.
