they are great.... when we had the ice a couple of weeks back it was the braking performance that astounded me most... even in just the normal 2-8 degree days with damp/wet roads we have for most of winter, I find these tyres instill much more confidence and grip than the continental summer tyres I have on the 'good' wheels.

M sport button deployed, and listening to the evolve exhaust giving out a lovely audible rumble..... makes mornings worthwhile !! esp in the snow

Finally got the summer boots on..... even got the Italian girlfriend out for a little clean up.... loving the bright sunshine for a change!!!

The comp wheels really do set the m3 off vs. The std m3 wheels.. love them

They are lovely.... i’ve Had this just over 3.5 years now, longest by far i’ve Ever owned a car... the evolve exhaust system in this just makes every single drive an experience.

I love getting the comp wheels back on it for summer... they really set It off

got the rear discs and pads fitted today too...... they weren't remotely worn.... but the one side that i had the caliper issue earlier in the year left the disc looking scabby and it was doing my head in......... so is sitting with brand new discs and pads front and rear with less than 3 miles on them... and both actuators done, and is living inside the garage for the foreseeable.

i probably should have priced the car at 18K ish and then asked for additional for the Evolve system and the genuine comp wheels etc. as the price will most likely put people off... but we'll see.

i did contact Evolve today...... the exhaust alone is 4200 quid... then the de restricted fast flow cats... then fitting, then stage 3 map etc. that lot woudl cost ~6K today !! interestingly they reckon they have only done ~50 E9x (most likely due to cost) and dont even advertise them as an option now - as they need orders of 5+ to make to order...

This was the more door sitting for her new owner this morning..

She is now making her way to a new home in Amsterdam!

Guy took it with everything... and for peace of mind is having the rod bearings done by a specialist in England.... will be interesting to see what condition they are in... as it was always warmed up, rarely ragged... and fed Castrol fully synthetic 10W60...

I’m not replacing the car with anything (I have the old v8 X5 for wafting)

I sure will miss the noise of the evolve exhaust, but felt the right time to move her on. And got exactly what I wanted for it money wise
