Yeah, drivers seem to think using an accelerator as an on/off switch at 100mph+ mid-corner, is awesome driving skillz yo. Who needs ESP anyway, sure it's the 'ring, it'll be just like Gran Turismo! :confounded:

was thinking about the big one last year.. happened 1 year two days ago. I'm thinking its the conditions.. I know for a fact here the mornings have been a lot colder.

for those who didn't see it see below.. from memory the guy either had a broken rist or finger but he was ok.. You can see him open the drivers door open to get out at the end.. two very lucky lad

The problem with the new meganes is that they are awesomely stable right up to the lateral grip limit which gives a lot of confidence, until (as mentioned earlier) you breach that point.
Then one of three things can happen
• balance the accelerator = go round the corner with a little slide
•bit more power = quite a lot of slip so make sure you've enough track
•panic and lift off the power/touch the brake = fly backwards through the armco like you've just had a j-turn go crazily wrong.
