Megane RS250 Wont Start

Hi guys, after returning from a 200 mile weekend trip, the next day I went to go out in the Meg and it just won't start. It cranks, no battery issue, but just will not catch. Now one other thing I noticed is the keyless, when I go up to the car it is not unlocking without hitting the button, the mirrors only unfold when I put the key in its slot too.
No codes, no errors on the dash etc but I've only a basic code reader. Anybody any experience with Renaults or could help diagnose? I've a few months warranty with Momentum but no break down cover. Don't realllllly fancy paying Charles Hurst £189 just to get it recovered to them

If the key had lost immobiliser coding, surely it wouldn't even turn over?

Sounds like this one might have!

Open all the doors on the car - and open/close button the key 5 times. Then see if the car will unlock when approaching. Not sure if its possible that the keyless fob battery is going. I had a MK3 Clio for about 6 years and had to change the battery in the keyless fob every year.

I have ordered one, entirely possible

@DreamTheater have tried changing key battery, no change. Just tried the locking/unlocking 5 times there, still not recognising it when I walk up to it

Pita but fingers crossed as it’s an easy fix
