Mileage discrepancy

I’m interested in a car at the moment and this came up on the HPI check. However the vcheck report never raised it, I’m just wondering should it be a worry? I think it’s seems fairly innocent and not a case of being given a haircut

I wouldn't worry. The system doesn't account for lazy humans.

One dealer rounding the mileage up to 49000 when valuing a trade-in, and a subsequent dealer entering an exact 48,xxx will trigger a discrepancy.

HPI will remove the marker on request 'after they investigate' lol.

4 previous owners. First was 6 months, 2nd was 1.5 years 3rd was 2 years and the remainder was the last owner.

Relax, 60% of the 'Approved Used' cars in the country are 1 owner multi-user vehicles. (ex-rental lol)
