Volvo 240
Hi, new to the forum and just moved over to Ni so I thought I'd introduce my latest project.
Here's my 380,000 miles Volvo 240 Gl.
Owened by two other people and has it full service history! I've managed to have her out for a few months thanks to the exemption at the moment 😉
She's a 2.0l injection, no red block unfortunately but she pulls well for the age and milage and looks good doing it to. Black interior with one mismatched seat but all tidy with nor rips or tares and heated seats!

Managed to get a boot full of spare parts including new (in the box) headlights and tail lights exhaust ect for a £100 which I was chuffed about.
Looking to re commission her soon with a fair bit of welding in the rear (recommendations welcome near ballynahinch) and a good polish!

Volvo's!
This thing was a bit of a land mark in Bangor, was sad when I heard the owner passed away. Was even more sad when i heard the car had been sold to someone who hadn't looked after it.
I'm secretly praying you are an enthusiast and are going to restore and get many more years out of it.
Mechanically I know these things pretty well so give me a shout if you like.

Don't think the boy passed away, think he changed it for a jag xf, lives/lived round the corner from me opposite Springhill. Came from Roy Paul's I think when it had the parking on the roof on the Old Belfast Road.

He died about 2 years ago, spoke to the guy who got the car from the mechanic
