Who doesn't love a bit of lovely leather.... I tracked down a set of Clubman front and rear lounge leather seats....the 5 seat set

Stock wheels back on and a trip to the North West for the Donegal Mini Owners Club show

The weather was good, I was cleaning the MINI and just kept going...

The Mourne Mini Club show in Donard Park was the next outing

I always enjoy The Causeway Coast Mini Club show ….. though like any outdoor event here it can be hit or miss with the weather.... no concerns this year it was a cracking day.

I got down early to get the 3 MINIs parked beside each other... I got a cracking spot
Oh yeah I forgot to mention "Mrs Austin" became the happy owner of an F60 MINI Countryman Cooper S exclusive, had to be red and black obviously

Took the pupper to the show.... Dessie seemed happy so may be the first of many for him

Next outing was the Mini Magic event in Co Louth, weather was the opposite to the Causeway Coast weekend

I really wanted at set of my favourite MINI wheels
For various reasons I kept missing out on the few sets that came available... they are super rare so lost all hope and looked for alternatives

I found my second favourite type of MINI wheel and acquired a set ready to refurb
Don't you know a week later a really great conditioned set of my favourites appeared for sale... at a good price... 20 minutes drive from my house
I had more wheels that is healthy and now I have two further sets.... I think I may have an addiction

Both sets of wheel are tucked away for the winter .... alas the MINIs are daily drivers and wont get that luxury

Great line up you have there. We just got a Cooper D clubman this week from prentice. So much fun to drive.

The weather was decent over the weekend..... for a change.
To take my mind off the current crazy times we find ourselves in I gave the Clubman the first decent clean of the year.
Also took time to fit the MINI GP2 wheels
At least it should stay clean for a while now we wont be out and about much

They hooked me up with some JCW Brembo calipers

Also found some photos that showed how much I enjoy driving the MINIs and getting them filthy

I had previously bought some 17" BBS RZ alloys
In August I took them to Polished Alloys and had them refurbished keeping them silver
These are the wheels prior to the refurb

They look great on a MINI, fill the arch well and are a quality rim

I think I have too many sets of wheels though, I might have a problem

Took advantage of the dry day to clean some of the MINIs

My good lady's daily driver received a scrubbing

The Clubman also had the dirt removed
I am currently rocking the BBS RC alloys

Interior received a wipe over, though just noticed that I totally missed the accelerator pedal

Some alcantara door pulls added

Alcantara door pulls are a nice touch The RCs are by far my favourite non OEM wheel on a Mini

Wow hadn't realised that I haven't updated this for over 2 years !

The Clubman Cooper S is back onto the BBS RC
looks like they may need a refurb sooner than later as they are starting to show signs of corrosion starting.
No real updates apart from that

Some good and bad news

Bad news my Mum sold her JCW Clubman !

Good news it didn't move that far.... new permanent home is with me

Fitted a set of JCW R109 I had
New intake pipe was needed
Gave it a deep clean
Need a new front plate @MarkyMck sorted me out
Also have some new suspension parts to fit

Finally sourced some MINI spare wheels to fit the sparewheel well..... hopefully I won't need them lol
Gambled and bought Rover sparewheel retaining bolts .... thankfully a perfect fit
