Mitsubishi with vw engine won't start

The odd time
As above mitsubishi with 2 litre vw diesel engine. Started for few seconds then died. Done this few times now just turning over. Never gave it much of a look as snowing here. Any ideas?

As above, crank/cam sensor, or fuel pump is dead. Have you tried using easy start? If it doesnt start with that then you know its probably not fuel related. Immobiliser is also a shout.

Have tried nothing as was snowing here. I was thinking immobiliser to be honest.. No lights on dash or nothing. Was parked up a day ago no issues definitely strange. #becausevolkswagen
