Yeah, we are doing a full dry build before painting so there wont be any changing after that.Just do it once and right, atleast now you can have the prep in place for the sadev and levers before paint.

Pleased with it so far. The lad is doing the works does this for a living every single day on Mark 2 rally cars so ive no concerns with his workmanship. That's the only way to do it! Fabrication looks good!
Looks a good solid shell to start with, will be following this. Sticking to the Vauxhall power unit ?
Dunno whether to wait until this thread is 110 pages deep & read it in a oner or sift through as you build because it’s going to be one hell of a journey.
No better man to see it through though
What colour you going for ?Small update. Car is at the painters. Just getting the doors and wings, bonnet etc lined up before welding. Then the front spolier & arches will be going on before rubbing down and sealed. I was just going to have it left in primer but after thinking about it Im just going to go ahead and have all the painting finished.
Im hoping to see the car painted aover the next 3 weeks.
I remeber that car. Beautifully done with a cosworth yb on throttle bodies. McGoldricks owned it.Love that colour, my dad's ex mechanic had one in orange (not sure if it's signal or a different shade)
