Not sure if its a mid-life crisis or just a YOLO moment but I picked this up yesterday from the Oakmere dealership just outside of Manchester. I drove it home via the Holyhead - Dublin ferry. I got home at 2am, it must have been some sight seeing me flying up the motorway last night in the middle of December!
I ordered this last year after seeing spy pics of the prototype. I always loved the old Morgan 3 Wheeler and actually planned on swapping the BMW Z3M Coupe for one last summer until I saw there was a new one on the way.
The colour I chose is called Willow Green, its a classic Jaguar colour, I saw an old 3 Wheeler in this colour and thought it looked great. Luckily Morgan will paint your car any colour you want.
Other options are the brown leather, heated seats, footwell heater, beeline sat nav, a cup holder, clear fly-screens and a couple of other little things.

The Super 3 has a 1.5 litre Ford 3 cylinder which produces 118bhp. It only weighs 635kg so it feels pretty quick. Its made of aluminium and is the first Morgan to not have any wood in the construction. The gearbox is a five speed from an MX5 and feels amazing going through the gears. Its power is transferred to the rear wheel via a belt and a bevel box which whines and squeals constantly. Its got plenty of character that's for sure!
Front wheels are 20 inch and the rear is a little 15 inch. The 2 front tyres are specially made for the Super 3 by Avon. It rides really well, though its impossible to avoid potholes, if it missus the front wheels, the rear one will get it.

Things I’ve learned on the drive home;
The standard exhaust sounds great but a few pops and bangs would be nice, so maybe a sports exhaust upgrade later down the line might be needed.
The foot well heater does very little.
The heated seats have 2 settings; not hot enough and molten lava. I just constantly switched between the 2 when the hot setting started to burn my bum.
It has great grip, the roads today were cold and damp and the car never felt sketchy.
It’s great fun! I can’t wait until spring when I think the car will definitely come into its own.

I’m in shock and awe in equal measures!

That’s fantastically mental. I love it.

LOL, mental is right. I'm still in shock I actually did it.

Yeah, they aren't the roomiest of cars, though apparently miles more space than the old one. I'm not the slimmest but I think its handy I am a short arse, so my head can tuck down out of the wind (and rain) easy enough.

Coolest rms car/trike ever! Actually think the design of these is unreal, look from the future and past at the same time, UNREAL!
