Had to remove immobiliser due to a problem with it not letting the vehicle start. But now I'm left with a "keycode" warning light glowing all the time. Do I need to do something about this for MOT, or will it pass ok?

Pic of the light would help but I don't think it will be an issue.
Not near it at the minute, but its small, orange, looks like a key and says "key code" underneath.

Volvo's!
Can't imagine that would cause any issues. Main ones are SRS, ABS and engine MIL lights. Drop into your nearest centre and ask for advice, one of the managers would be happy to advise.

Shouldn't be that hard to remove ?

As for the immobiliser light....if it is just a bulb, remove it.

To many cars
What if you cant get a tie rod end removed. Can you just paint it black like the new part and hope for the best?

🤫

I'm losing my **** with this car, lol.
Throw it in the window an make sure he sees it, tell him you’ll change it later 😂
