LAUNCH OF ASTON MARTIN DB9 AT THE BUY & SELL MOTORSHOW IRELAND
(10th -12th September)

The amazing Aston Martin DB9 will be launched into the Irish market at Motorshow Ireland, sponsored by Buy and Sell. 10-12th September 2004 at the RDS in Dublin.

The DB9 Coupe will be showcased at the show along with renowned Vanquish model. The DB9 will be a definite magnet for the crowds at the Motorshow with its lure that transcends its beauty and performance. The Vanquish will also prove a major attraction due to its famous appearance in the Die Another Day James Bond movie.

The significance of the new DB9 should not be underestimated and demands serious attention on its introduction into Ireland. It replaces the most successful model in Aston’s history – the DB7 and neatly splits the difference between a supercar and a classic grand tourer.

With Aston Martin's winged logo attached to its svelte, hand-built body the DB9 embodies style, sophistication, and power like few other motorcars on this planet. The company, now owned by Ford, expects to sell more than 2,000 units a year.

If the exterior of the car is not amazing enough, the cabin is nothing less than a revolution. The interior is novel, beautifully appointed and well screwed together with exquisite detailing.

The extremely powerful DB9 propels its Bridgestones to speeds in excess of 180 mph with its 48-valve, 6-litre V-12 engine. DB9's optimized torque distribution helps transform it into a rocket.

The DB9 is not only the greatest sports car that Aston Martin has ever built, it is also stands comparison with finest ever built anywhere, and by anyone. The launch of the DB9 is a momentous occasion not to be missed.

To witness the DB9’s Irish unveiling, see the breathtaking Vanquish and witness many more amazing vehicle displays including a spectacular €15million Jaguar display, visit Motorshow Ireland, sponsored by Buy and Sell. this September (10th – 12th) and prepare to be dazzled.

Speed Power and Durability on show at the RDS this September

An exciting new shape will be gracing the stands at this year’s Motorshow 2004, sponsored by Buy & Sell, at the RDS in Dublin, 10-12th September. The exciting presence is that of the Bowler Wildcat.
“I’ve only seen pictures of the Bowler and it looks like an incredible machine. To have eight of them enter the Paris Dakar race they would have to be. I am looking forward to seeing them in the flesh and the only place to do so in Ireland will be at the motorshow” said Jill Armer of Buy&Sell, Motorshow Sponsor.
The name Bowler is synonymous with success in off road Motorsport and more recently around the world with excellent results in the World Cross Country Cup. The name Bowler is synonymous with success in off road Motorsport and more recently around the world with excellent results in the World Cross Country Cup. Bowlers are hand-made 4x4s purposely built to compete in top level off-road racing events using standard-build Land Rover components from the Defender and Discovery models.
The Wildcat is extrovert and purposeful in its appearance, far more so than any of the other 4WD production vehicles available to date. All the curves and scoops within the body are placed for beneficial purpose.
“We are very excited about showcasing this spectacular vehicle, it’s presence at the show will cause great excitement” said Nick Orton, Motorshow organiser of
Pioneer Networks.

Nick is equally excited about the showcasing of the Ferrari 360 owned by none other than Jim Rock, Former Irish Light Middleweight and Super Middleweight Champion at the Motorshow. “It is a beautiful car and perfectly epitomises Jim’s personality - tough, robust and powerful”, said Nick.
The Ferrari 360 is exactly everything a Ferrari should be. As a replacement to the 355 it had to be something really special and it has certainly lived up to expectation. The 360 is a very beautiful car, from the air vents in the front to the rear quad tailpipes, and everything in between. Then there is the 3.6 litre V8 that produces 400 hp, enough to accelerate the car to 60 miles per hour in just 4.3 seconds and give it a top speed of 190 mph.
To share in some of the action at the Motorshow this year, visit the RDS from the 10th-12th September and be thrilled by these amazing vehicles and much more.

WITNESS THE NEW LOTUS ELISE 111R AT
THE BUY & SELL MOTORSHOW IRELAND

The latest edition to the spectacular Lotus sportscar range, the Elise 114R will be unveiled for the first time in the Republic at Motorshow Ireland, sponsored by Buy and Sell, 10-12th September 2004 at the RDS in Dublin.

Elise sportscars have taken the world by storm since their introduction, winning countless awards for handling, innovation and just pure fun. The newest edition to the range, the 111R introduces to the market the most powerful and highest performing production Elise. Equipped with a high-tech engine it can sprint 0-60mph in a supercar-thrashing 4.9 seconds.

“We are very excited to introduce this amazing vehicle to Ireland at the Motorshow this year, it’s sure to amaze all visitors to the show”, said Motorshow organiser Nick Orton of Pioneer Networks.

The Elise was initially designed as a sportscar to be appreciated by real driving enthusiasts, fashion leaders and those who really appreciate technology and innovation and the 111R certainly fits this image. All Lotus Elises are hand assembled by skilled craftsmen at Lotus' headquarters in Hethel, England.

Links between the Elise and the track have always been strong, and the 111R gives a strong sense of being seated in a racing car. As soon as a driver sits behind the wheel of the 111R, they instantly know that they are in something special. From the composite sports seats that hug the driver to the race designed steering wheel and the extruded aluminium pedals - the 111R is a car that invites to be driven.

“We look forward to showcasing the Lotus Elise 111R at the Motorshow, it’s a sight to behold and one not to be missed” said Sheelagh Young of Buy & Sell, Motorshow sponsors. “This year’s show is a must-attend event for all avid motor fans, wannabe driver, industry people and those who just enjoy a good show”, she said.

For spectacular displays of truly amazing vehicles and spectacular features with entertainment for all the family, visit Motorshow Ireland (sponsored by Buy and Sell) this year, September 10th -12th at the R.D.S. in Dublin.
