Are you going to give the bay a wee clean before fitting the v6?

Bought a new tank as I'm going injection so needed a return and swirl pot, actually bought 8 as it was new old stock. But I have 3 cavaliers so won't go to waste
Flywheel bolts also landed so bolted that on
No running tomorrow after work so should get the box bolted on and hopefully she has nothing planned so I can get the engine sat in 🤞

Loving this thread. My parents had a 1988 1600L Cavalier. Was one of the smoothest engines I remember in a car. Got to speed fairly quickly, but did it in a no fuss way.

Did it so well my mum got caught speeding twice 🤣

Not sure how many engines have been in this thing from my last update
But I’ve finally made a decision
2.5v6

I need a corsa b V6 driver side engine mount
Astra gte rear box mount and we are sorted

Was at the shed for a bit earlier an after an hour I wrestled the wiring loom inside the car

Then removed the speedo clocks

This left a wee hole

But will be replaced with these

So at the weekend I cleaned the shed up, a large chunk of it anyway an put all my floor tools back in their boxes an trays

Then I had a wee chat with my gearbox, I asked it nicely to jump onto the engine

Then I asked it nicely to jump in there

It wasn't happening, more manual labour
