Looks like someone's been to hard on the bonnet lol

Love these cars, great looking with the new wheels

Oh I know lol, one of the previous owners was clearly a bit heavy handed! Its been on my list for a while now to do along with a few other wee dents.

One of the jobs I had in mind was to freshen up the interior, and I had saw other 182s with carbon inserts so I was determined to get them, although the dash inserts were hard to find, but I saw a post on the Facebook group of someone who had made them, as well as steering wheel inserts and hazard switch insert, they were first come first serve so I snapped them up. I must say I'm very pleased with them!

Not really much of an update but I put my name down to get one of these battery covers, a guy of Cliosport makes them in batches so I do not know when he will next make a batch, but I really think it helps tidy up the engine bay!

Lovely.....I had the pillars trims covered in alcantara to match the seats which was a nice touch and gear and handbrake gaiters.

Another winter meant it was time to take the car off the road and do a bit of work, and it was time to do something I'd be planning for a while and something in clio circles that is seen as quite important and refresh the suspension, so I slowly gathered bits to do that. First up was tackling the rear beam, so it was taken out, repainted and bushes replaced. As you can see the bushes have saw better days!

Next was new wishbone bushes as well as repainting wishbone themselves, also replaced the track rods as well since I was in that far.

Another unnecessary task but one that was satisfying when done was dropping the surname out and regalvanising it, plus when off I replaced the anti roll bar bushes and repainted the roll bar. No photos of before but some when reattached to the car. On top of that new shocks all round, new oil and filter and replaced the engine mount Bush, somewhat was my winter list complete, would love new tyres and want to do some interior changes when funds permit!

Great idea it’s the one part of them always goes first. I’d love another some day.

Thanks, it is the little things that help keep the car in decent condition. Would definitely recommend getting one again, so much fun for little cash!

Well the clio hasn't done much since the last update, the way things are In the world atm I cant see it out much at all over the summer😔. But I did manage to fit the battery cover mentioned in the previous post, as well change the pollen filter, which looked like it hadn't been changed since new! I must admit the cover is a great job, looks quite oem imo!

Wow, over a year since I updated this thread! To be fair not much has happened, 2020 was a year where it hardly moved at all and due to getting engaged and moving house so no money was spent on the car at all! Fast forward to now and I got the car out to enjoy this summer, and managed to get @Eddie_ to give it a much needed clean, and I must say when it gets cleaned by someone who knows what they are doing it really does look great! Other small changes was I replaced the centre caps since they started to flake, unfortunately not the original caps as they are nla, so ebay specials in silver had to do, but they actually don't look too out of place. Other changes that will happen are powerflex top mount bushes and a gas strut kit for the bonnet, but for now have a another few pics of the car after its valet!
