Bit of a long time lurker here, so I thought it was time to stick up a thread about my cars.

Wee bit of history first, started out with a mk3 Ibiza 1.4 Chill

Managed to transform it subtly into this..

Then started a job in Dublin and the miles increased so i decided to switch to something a bit faster and diesel. Bought this brand new in 2010

Couldn't manage to keep it standard either!

After 3 years I traded it in for what I had always wanted in the first place, a Leon FR.
Bought it from SERE Lisburn in 2013 - was a year old with 6000 miles on the clock.

The day I picked it up

First thing i did was get it re-registered to a NI plate

Has heated leather which seems rare for a Leon

Still can't keep a car standard - first upgrade an RNS510

Excuse the music taste...

Second mod was to wrap the grill surround and the bit of the bumper behind the number plate gloss black

Led number plate lights and Cupra R rear spoiler

Also got it remapped, hence the Revo stickers.

The most recent mod I've done is retrofitting OEM xenons.

Oh and I also fitted the new style FR gear knob and the handbrake cover

xenons for the leon's are hard to come by so i doubt they were cheap! very worthwhile mod though.

Yeah, they weren't cheap, made worse when I discovered I needed a new CECM module as mine didn't have the two pins that control the bi xenon shutters :sob:

If I'd have know what it was actually gonna cost, I'd never have bothered lol - but it's done now, and once I had the xenons I wasn't gonna give up lol

Did you have to fit the levellers and washers for the Xenons ?

Love an fr Leon and that's a very nice one you have with some tasty bits you have added!

Anymore plans?
Cheers man, hopefully get it lowered on some eibach springs and then sort out some wheels. But that'll not be for a while yet

Haven't fitted self leveling, washers were already there from the factory fitted winter pack. Will see how it pans out at MOT next year, keep hearing conflicting reports about the self leveling being a failure or not.
Very nice was it a 140bhp standard ?
Yeah was a 140 from the factory. Revo transformed it.

Mine passed with just the washers. Retrofitted them the same time I fitted the xenons.

Yeah Revo is definitely worth the money, pulls great in all gears. Only downside is the price of tyres!

Thanks man, my brother did the grill for me :grinning: I'm useless with vinyl, he does it for a living so i leave these things to the pros lol

Yeah they were originally fitted to the Cupra R only, but towards the end of the mk2's they started sticking them on everything, I've seen some late ecomotives with them! haha
You can buy them from SEAT but theyre around £450 or something silly and you need them coded in.

Very nice, looks well in silver too (y)

I find the factory xenons in my car complete rubbish tbh

Wouldn't go with eibach spring either, thinking of changing my own to H&Rs.

I find the eibach to be brilliant springs ?

Didn't know you could get 140 FRs. Is it PD or CR?

Also its really odd the way Seat work. My brother has a facelift CR170 FR, it has the newer gearknob that you put in, but doesnt have the Cupra R tailights?!

There are no Cupra R tail lights, they're just facelift lights.
