Been a while since I've been active on here and going to events and trackdays etc but I've had a bit more time on my hands recently and went to a couple of recent meets and did some laps of Kirki so slowly getting back into it so to speak.

Had this a few years now as my daily and resisted the urge to modify it until recently.

Non-PP GTI bought with 97k on it with one local owner, double serviced all its life, none of that 18k ****. Standard and all original. Found out its had it's water pump/stat twice before me and I reckon it might have had a clutch and/or will need one soon.

Recent;y got it mapped, then decat downpipe, turbo elbow and turbo muffler delete and intake pipe. No EML or EPC strangely after decat. Should be circa 320ish judging by my bumdynometer v1.3. Plans are to replace the windscreen with one that doesn't have a 3 foot crack, then gather bits and wait for the clutch to let go then go IS38 and all that is required.

Nice! 3dr manual tartan GTi...what's not to like!

Completely agree, enthusiast's spec I would call it.

Bound to be rapid already.

Are the clutches in manual MK7 GTIs as soft as the R's? Mind my clutch starting to slip at 37k(ish) miles.
