I raced one very similar to that about a month ago m5 towards odyssey, hardly you was it?
I sold mine before Christmas so it definitely wasn’t me, but I have a notion it ended up Belfast direction

These van threads are great. My dad has a new Berlingo with the 130hp 1.5 and 8 speed auto, it drives amazingly for a van.

Would love to see a van this size with a 250+hp engine from a hot hatch with a set of steelies on.
edit: brakes and suspension upgraded as well

Ford or VW van with the respective 5 cylinder engines would be cool as **** 🤤

I believe someone has done a golf R drivetrain swap into a caddy, Haldex and all

Have had all of the new wave of caddy’s from 05-2018 wouldn’t have anything else.
Early 1.9s were a brilliant van, took plenty of abuse. 1.6s were a step backwards, less torque and not as nice to drive and ours spent more time back in agnews than enough. Current one is a 2018 2.0 with 65k miles on it atm, dab radio and flat bottom leather steering wheel it’s a lovely place to be. It was actually nicer inside than my Evo 9 :joy:

Could drive it to the moon and back in fairness, needs an arm rest tho 😂

Next stop swinford Co. Mayo

Hope all the miles are paying well !!

Armrest and cruise control are essential...and the usual like aircon etc.

Yea I just need an armrest out of a dark interior touran but worry about that when seats get changed

As for cruise control or aircon that's a negative, it even has keep fit windows 😔

One of the helios has 3 cracks hidden under 3 weights the seller actually noticed it so was welded up yesterday or the day before can't mind those days we're a blur

Today I picked up a 3ft mattress to start making the back of it up think it's too bit may need 100mm cut off it lengthwise but was 30quid brand new worth the risk

Leasure battery is here, waiting on split charger and the interior fabric to cover full inside

Also took a we scoot to ballintoy Harbour as its on the list of places I've never been

Once you've had a van it's near impossible to live without one. So handy and most are more comfortable to drive than a car.

Cruise control should just be a stalk and some programming ?

If you're doing a load of miles, cruise is great.
