My S1 106 Rallye long overdue update

just got this home today
s1 106 rallye in cherry red, its also a skip brown version (i think he builts rally cars)

basically group N spec
lsd superclose ratio gearbox
4branch
full peugoet sport exhaust
fully polybushed
quick shift

the noise off this wee 1.3 is unreal

Looks very good in red with the wee arches(y). Not many of them over here and there weren't too many sold new over here either. Go well for what they are. Are the brakes good on it? They can sometimes be poor as the servo is designed for Lhd cars.

Did I see this being driven flat out in Bangor today? Lovely looking wee wagon and sounded absolutely awesome, but take her casual.

the servo assistance seems ok tho it does have wraped disc's
not to worry ive a full vts set-up to replace them with inculding back axle

Had a nasty experiance in the passenger seat of one of these at a lanes rally in cookstown one night.Still hurts 10 years later lol:oops:.

One of the most enjoyable and basic cars to drive, had the pleasure of a white rallye mk1. Just feels so connected standard.

Yup that's a TU 16v from a 106/Saxo

If it were me id have left it 8v but thats only on the originality aspect - it will be super quick though with that engine and the rallye gearbag
