Nice project, plenty to do. Get that rust beat.

Sometime I plan to strip my EF down to a bare shell and make sure its not going to rust out on me.

Still all the work to be done yet lol.
Rust will be the first tackle, I love your EF.
Seen it a JCC when I was there with my old EG9 SiR.

Got my other front lip from honda to not damaged this time.
Just a few more clips and stuff to get & a few trims and seals.

Hopefully have the rust sorted soon as that's the main tackle then it can be sent for paint.

Yes, once the rust is sorted everything else is easy. Thats definitely the biggest obstacle.

How are parts for these? Hard to get? I find getting EF parts very hard now.

Parts are hard enough to get. Everything is getting discontinued at the moment, though building my eg9 sir built me a strong platform for parts etc.. so most of the people I know can usually sort it for me.

Some more bits came so took everything out to double check what I've got etc. Still a fair bit to buy yet though getting there! New Oem roof gutter trims New Oem windscreen set with all clips New Oem front lip New Oem battery stay kit New Oem b pilar trims for doors New Oem rain channel trims New Oem Mudflap set not in the picture New Oem cover set New Oem Dc2 leather stitched gear gator New Oem gearknob New Oem clips for back and front bumper New Oem clips for front splitter New Oem clips for roof trims New Oem scuttle panel clips New Oem key New Oem silver civic decal New Oem decals for under bonnet New Oem bonnet stay clip Still abit to go. Need to buy a few seals, stuff to sort engine timing belt etc Though parts gathering up rightly! Not much more to be got before the car can start being fixed and painted if I find motivation to do so🙃

Love these, my Mrs had one years ago and she always regretted selling it. Dont see many about now, theres a lovely one sits in Ards, always tempted to put a 'if you want to sell......' note on the screen lol

Very few and far between now mate. Most were broken stole or scrapped, now most are rotten lol.

Any idea what the model of the one in ards is? Don't think I've seen it! Always worth asking if its for sale

Always see it parked up but never wanted to snoop round it in case i looked dodgy lol! Looks quick with nice wee wheels on it but thats all i know lol

They have a cool stance when low and with wheels.

Yours will look awesome when finished, look forward to seeing it.

Excellent, can’t wait to see this finished!

My brother keeps sending me the one below, I had one around 22 years ago 😮

I know of the lad selling that. Seems a really good car bang on the money now in my opinion, not far of what I got for my EG9 SiR when I sold it.

Hard to get a genuine white SiR now to, youd struggle to import one for what he's asking prices are ridiculous.

Serious money all the same. Think I’d buy another classic Impreza if spending that sort of dough, but would love to have another EG.

I keep watching this too. It’s the only other car I’d like to have along with the impreza. I dunno why it hadn’t sold? He sent me a few pics of underneath but it’s hard to see with the underseal. It needed a fair bit of work a few years back looking at the MOT history. If it wasn’t in England I would be going to see it in the metal.

So finally got round to stripping the last bits of interior etc out. Carpet out and pleased with how clean the inside is. Only downfall is the passenger floor being pushed up due to someone lifting the car with a fork lift and damaging it😬. Oh and the dodgy wiring for the Clifford alarm🤔

Anyway! Drivers arch is caked in filler so both are getting replaced as no point doing one and not the other!

Exciting part is I'm gonna make a start at the weekend on it finally.. So hopefully have some interesting updates soon🙏

How have you found finding parts for this. I have found it difficult enough to get some s2000 parts and it's a bit more modern.

The car is coming together, keep up the good work

Nearly impossible and people would think there's something wrong with me if i told them the prices to :joy: .

But I regretted not going this far with the eg9 I had so doing it all this time nearly a full nut and bolt job..

So gathering basically everything I can new and think I'll need before I even touch the car.

Pm what bits your after I might be able to help
