will probably never happen, but at least young drivers will have more experience of fast driving, lets face it if anyone does stay at 45mph for a year, are they going to be able to control a car at higher speeds?

ROTFL it helps to be able to control the car at 45mph never mind higher speeds. its not all about being able to control the car at speeds its about controlling the car full stop, not being able to go fast. Ie if you stick to the 45mph limit anf control yourself, you will be able to get practise in to the driving safely.

Because you have the ability to out ur right foot down a bit harder does not make you a good driver.
